You may have read the title of this post and screamed, “It’s about time, Annette!” Posts like this are rarely complicated; they just require me to sit down and start a brain dump of all the knowledge I’ve picked up over the years pertaining to thrifting. I know, it’s a tough job. Trying to narrow down the list of my favorites is the toughest part of putting together a list of the best thrift and vintage stores in Los Angeles. I changed this list about a hundred times before I finally settled on this version, which includes my favorites. I could put together another 10 versions of this list and call it the best thrifts stores in Los Angeles, but then I would have to use some ranking system and that’s even more complicated, right? These are the stores I frequent regularly and have purchased many items for my home and wardrobe from these great shops. They are my go-to stores, turn a bad day into a good day, inspire me to continue thrifting, and feed my love and obsession for all things vintage.
For those of you outside of the Los Angeles area, I’ll be sharing my favorite online shops for vintage treasures very soon! In the meantime, check out the Vintage Guide section of the blog as a resource help you discover the #ThrilloftheThrift as well as some other great posts for shopping vintage.
