A sweater dress is definitely a fall and winter wardrobe staple – it works with tights and booties as well as flats and chunky cardigans. Given how bulky some colder weather looks can get, a lightweight sweater dress is comfortable and soft, which is exactly how I want to feel on a chilly day. I love a sweater dress with boots and paired with a wool felt floppy hat for a chic thrown together look. I’m really glad the floppy hat has made a comeback as I have been alternating between this vintage one and one from Anthropologie (yes, they are twinsies!).

I love the idea of putting a slip under a sweater dress! I would definitely need to invest in some static cling though. LOL And I haven’t been wearing my floppy hats as much this season for some reason. It looks fantastic on you though! <3

Floppy hats give such a jet setter vibe, don’t you think? I really need to start wearing more hats! x
