How good is this dress?! Although I usually stick to vintage pieces from the 60-80s, I couldn’t pass up this beauty which is a classic 1940s dress in the softest linen and beautiful embroidery at the bodice. It was a bit too long on my petite frame, so I had it altered for a perfect length (check out my guide to styling vintage pieces for petite gals).
I wore it for an afternoon date at The Huntington in Pasadena. If you have never been, definitely plan a date there to explore the libraries, gardens, and grounds. It’s one of my favorite places in the area and we try to visit at least once a month!
