Outdoor Entertaining
Anyone else excited for summer nights and outdoor entertaining? As you know, I live for hosting parties at our house. It was designed as an entertainer’s home by the original owner so I have to do the home justice and keep up with parties!
When it comes to entertaining, it’s so important to set the mood and tone for the party which is easily done through lighting and music. I used Enbrighten Seasons Color Changing Cafe Lights to cast a soft glow above the dining area. I was opting for a serene and romantic evening and the multi-color modes help achieve just that. For music, Alan always pulls together a great playlist and we stream on our Sonos.
I also like to keep the menu simple so I can enjoy the evening along with my guests. I always have a bottle (or two) of wine chilling, a cheese and charcuterie platter, and some summer fruits perfect for nibbling. For dinner, we love to grill so we prep dinner while we entertain our guests. Again, this keeps the mood relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.

I also use the myTouchSmart Timer to automate the Enbrighten Color Changing Café Lights. This way I can plug in the lights and they light up and turn off on their own every night. I just plug my Enbrighten Color Changing Café Lights into the timer, set the current time, and choose my on and off times with the push of a button!
