One of my favorite posts to create is my annual Thanksgiving centerpiece and table setting. Alan and I always host Thanksgiving at our home, so I start planning the dinner menu, table setting and centerpiece about a month in advance. I really love to have my family and friends over so I really let the dinner takeover my life a bit. For this year’s dinner, I’m moving toward a more luxe, traditional table setting complete with bright flowers. I’ve had these beautiful vintage inspired plates for years and I always love to whip them out any opportunity. Paired with the autumnal florals, the decorative plates really brighten up and bring together the setting. For the centerpiece, I picked up festive bunches from Trader Joes (3 different bunches) and combined them into a copper metallic vase. Although I love simple, modern design with touches of vintage, I like to step out of my comfort zone and experiment with other aesthetics. I’m really looking forward to bringing my family together around a welcoming table.
