For some of us, even a closet full of party dresses doesn’t do the trick. We still look into our closets and complain, “I have nothing to wear!” It happens every morning as I’m getting ready for work… For that reason, I’ve decided to showcase a few outfits inspired by holiday parties using outfits I already have in my closet. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a fashion challenge, it’s more of a inspiring way to force myself to shop my closet first before heading to the shops. Since I mastered accepted the crop top this summer, I have been pairing them with high waist skirts for a polished and classic look. I love this stripe crop top paired with a full, textured skirt and bright heels. It’s easy, yet sophisticated and definitely ladylike!
In other news, if you follow along on Instagram then you saw the debut of the beautiful Annette bracelet. Smart Couture is a new online jewelry concept and has named this fabulous bracelet after me! Even better, they’re giving one away for you too. Be sure to enter as the Annette bracelet is sold out online. It’s super easy to enter – see below!
American Apparel Crop Top | H&M Skirt | Zara Colorblock Heels (similar for $35) | Vintage Cartier Clutch | Miu Miu Sunglasses
Beautiful! I totally agree—I have an overflowing closet yet a couple times a week I stand there staring at it thinking “I have nothing to wear”. Then I realize how pathetic/greedy I am! I did the same thing last week—created 5 holiday outfits with pieces I already have. It was fun and made me realize how much I already have and don’t need to shop! Love your crop-top— you’ve definitely mastered it!

Thanks Brooke. It took some time for me to get comfortable exposing skin, but I’m starting to like the trend! xx

I know I said this on IG but I have to say it again. YOU LOOK HOT! I love this. You totally rock the crop top in a way that feels glamorous and sophisticated. Plus, your abs! Can I have them too? haha.

This is such a beautiful lady-like look! You totally rock the crop tops girl! And I love that full skirt. This would definitely be a fashion forward holiday outfit. 🙂 <3

OOOOO this is so pretty!!!
I love the way you’ve style the skirt. I’m much more open to mixing a pattern with a texture than two patterns, so I love what you’ve done here.
