DIY Tassel Bag

With the start of summer comes trips to the beach and poolside lounging.  A must have is a tassel bag adorned with some colorful pom poms.  I’ve had this fabulous beach bag for some time, but I felt like it needed some color and with $10 I transformed it into a new bag for the season.

What you need:

Beach Bag (mine is from Sole Society)

Tassels and Pom Poms in a variety of colors

Heavy duty needle & thread

Steps:

1. Arrange your tassels and pom poms.

2. Use a heavy duty needle and thread to loop the tassel and pull the tassel through the bag so the loop is on the inside of the bag.  Tie the loop in a knot on the inside of the bag.  Repeat until you’ve added as many tassels as you like.

3. Using the needle and thread, sew the pom poms to the bag.

4. Strut that bag on your next beach or pool getaway!
