This outfit was all about keeping it casual and comfy, while looking girly and glam for dinner and drinks. It was also an excuse to wear my sequin skirt again post holidays. This sweater was a great purchase over the holidays as I’ve been wearing it a lot lately (last seen here), but my skirt not so much so I had to work it into an outfit – stat. I think you can definitely wear your sequins post-holidays for shopping, lunch, and dinner as long as you balance out the dressiness of the sequins so you don’t look like you missed your NYE bash by a month. What do you think about wearing sequins and mixing it up with comfy pieces?

I think for drinks, a sequin skirt is great. I am not a huge collector of sequin clothing for the reason you mentioned … hard to work it in for every day occassionscheck out my post today on my military inspired outfitNot Going Out Like That
Love that skirt…I have the same one and I too love to wear it paired with a basic slouchy sweater. Congrats on becoming Aunt! XO
I absolutely love the combination of a cozy grey sweater and the camel colored sequin skirt! It's so unexpected and chic. -Erin-OneTwoSummer
