My makeup routine does not change; I stick to black liquid liner, black mascara, and bright lips. I sometimes add my YSL extreme blue mascara for a bright summer look, but more times than not, I stick to the basics. Recently on a quick trip to CVS, I stumbled upon Wet & Wild’s eyeliner selection and was swayed by the cobalt liquid liner and at a steal for $2, I couldn’t pass it up. I paired my cobalt eyes with bright fuchsia lips. The final look is a fresh and fun spring and summer makeup routine sure to give you that je ne sais quoi. What do you think?
One: Using liquid liner line along the lash line in quick short strokes. I always like to line upwards for a classic cat eye.
Tip: I always anchor my pinky against my nose and/or cheek when I apply liquid liner. The slightest wrong move can ruin the whole look, so as long as I have my pinky resting against my nose and/or cheek, my hand is steady and able to draw a precise line. Same goes with applying mascara.
Two: Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes.
Three: Apply lipstick for deliciously bright lips.
