I connect with a lot of different artists and works and if you’ve ever been at my home you’ll know this is true. This was a serious problem when I was a Gallery Director – I wanted to bring home every piece of work that selected for exhibitions at the gallery. I still seek out new artists who create that emotional connection for me. I’m going to be frank, some of these emotions are a bit of crazy and a dash of weird (it’s not always flowers and rainbows folks), but art evokes an emotion and that is important. I came across Amanda Charchian through Instagram and was drawn to her photography immediately. Amanda’s work is feminine yet sexy, innocent yet provocative. Her work captures our natural surroundings in a romantic yet unnatural way that makes me feel whimsical and want to have fun. I’ve added one of Amanda’s works to my art collection in my home office; I can use a lot of whimsy as I’m blogging away. Amanda’s photographs have been regarded internationally and I know she is going to be one of the most sought after fine art photographers so add one of her photographs to your collection. For those of you who are just into amazing photography on Insta, then follow her at @amanda_charchian.
