The Perfect Cocktail for your Holiday Party

style bar cart

During the summer, I hosted a fun event at West Elm Pasadena along with other Pasadena creatives. Naturally, I was in charge of bringing the libations because a good party always need a signature drink and I always love classic cocktails with a twist. As I was going through some images on my external drive, I came across this gem and I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t shared it yet. Classic cocktails are classic for a reason – they are like Paul Newman and George Clooney – they are always a favorite!

Here’s the perfect cocktail for your holiday party, whether it’s a casual dinner with friends or a fancy soiree with your family.  This is a large batch recipe since it’s for a party! My glam tip? Always come up with a fun name for your cocktail. I always like the sound of A Splendor Gimlet!

Large Batch Vodka Gimlet

20 oz. Vodka

10 oz. fresh lime juice

6 oz. Simple Syrup or Honey

3 Limes thinly sliced

Prep: Build with plenty of ice in punch bowl or dispenser and stir.

This makes enough for 10-14 full sized cocktails over ice. If you’re giving out more in “sample” sizes, I’d say it’s enough for 20-24 drinks. I hope that helps.
