A few times a year, Shopbop has a big sale and that’s when I stock up on denim, basics likes tees and tanks, shoes, and swimwear. 90% of my closet is vintage or thrifted, but I do need that new new in my closet from time to time. I also find that when I do buy new pieces, they are generally to fill a void in my closet that I can’t find through my vintage shopping trips. What I do buy, I end up wearing over and over again, like my Levi’s and Z supply tanks. My take on any sale is to buy what I’ll actually wear and need, instead of buying for the sake of buying! This is why I look for solid quality brands and pieces that withstand trends (I was never keen on dad sneakers for a reason!). I’ve rounded up some favorite pieces below.
