Vintage Inspired Modern

vintage lamp styling

Finally, a semi update on what’s happening at Casa de A Vintage Splendor! Although we’ve been dragging on the kitchen and bathroom, I’ve been focused on the smaller updates that make a big visual impact.  Our dining room was near complete but our credenza was seriously lacking some stylo.  We needed a pop of color to balance out the wood tones and additional lighting for parties and get togethers. These vintage inspired lamps added the perfect balance in color and mood lighting and helped transform the entire space.  Plants and flowers add life to any space, so I added succulents and fresh greens in these metallic planters.  When it comes to mixing metallics, I say go for it! Our dining room mixes brass and silver accents so these metallic planters help bring the space together.  Finally, I added my vintage brass elephant and book to round out the credenza.
