I’ve never been too interested in the nail art trend, but I was intrigued enough to try something new a few months ago. I wanted something professional since I shoot for clients on a regular basis and my hands do end up in pictures, but something unique so it wasn’t just another manicure. I discovered the half moon manicure which is actually a vintage manicure style popular in the 20s and 30s – as soon as I found out, I was hooked. I’ve tried this mani with white, nude, light pink, and orange/red nail polish and it looks so pretty in any shade of polish. It’s so pretty and I seriously get stopped so many times a week to ask about my manicure. The trick is to get this mani with an almond shaped nails; it’s not the same with square shaped nails.
