As we begin our move into our new home, I have one thing on my mind: vintage furniture shopping. This reminded me that I have been neglecting one of my favorite posts – Vintage Find Friday. I do apologize for this, but I’m excited to be back because I’m lusting after lucite side tables. Good news for me (bad news for my bank account) they’re everywhere! I really like lucite because it is so versatile and serves as great addition to a modern, Hollywood regency, and even mid-century modern home. The clean, yet dramatic lines and geometric shape add a lot of character to a room in just one piece; plus lucite lets you add more furniture in a space without creating a clustered look like some materials. It is obviously a clear choice in adding a touch of drama to a room (get the pun?). For our home, I’m seriously considering a lucite table with brass elements – I love the look of the brass as it patinas! Although I’ve been researching online, I’m definitely going to hit up some of my secret haunts to snag a deal. What do you think about lucite?
I love the lucite end tables! The one on the right is my favorite because it looks retro, but has a touch of modernity to it too. And I agree that lucite tables don't add to the clutter. They look elegant! <3
