A Tropical Winter Lemonade Cocktail #MixedWithTrop

As you know, I love shaking up a cocktail to celebrate Friday night or for casual parties at home. There’s one big event in November for which I’m most excited. Most of my friends are obsessed with “Gilmore Girls,” and we’ve been counting down the days until the revival graces our screens. To celebrate, I’m inviting my friends over for a casual and fun “Gilmore Girls” marathon, plus a side of Thanksgiving leftovers (since it airs the day after Turkey Day).

Regardless of any size party or gathering I host, I always love to have a theme and a special cocktail – it makes for an even better fete, I swear. “Gilmore Girls” kicks off in the winter, and since we’ll be deep in the holiday season by then, I’m thinking a bit of the tropics will make for a fun and memorable party. I created a Winter Lemonade Cocktail that marries winter citrus with a summertime favorite drink. It’s perfectly sweet and light in flavor and is a great sipping cocktail for a day with the girls.

Tropicana’s Tangerine Lemonade is the perfect drink for at-home mixology as it makes for a delicious cocktail mixer. Although we’ll be making sandwiches from leftovers, popping popcorn for snacks, and finishing off all the pie, my Winter Lemonade Cocktail will keep the “Gilmore Girls” gathering going for the long haul!
