Nothing is as sweet as flowy and lightweight pieces on a hot summer day – when it comes to a gal’s wardrobe, of course. As the heat waves in LA roll in one after the other, I am gravitating to pieces that will provide any form of relief through the heat and humidity. Plus the loose layers help hide the extra bulge thanks to my daily multiple trips to the ice cream shop. I’m an ice-creamaholic. I admit it. This crop top is a recent find from Sweet As, a new and fabulous vintage shop in LA. It top is the perfect compliment to my reworked vintage skirt for a comfortable, yet polished look for the office on one of these said hot and humid days. When I laid my eyes on this top, I immediately thought of pairing it with my high-waisted bell bottom pants for the fall. I’m not quite ready for fall, but I’ll definitely be welcoming the cooler weather so I can rock my bell bottoms and crop top like a proper lady. Hopefully by fall, the humidity will simmer down and give my mane a break (I feel like I have been wearing a wool shag carpet on my head that poofs at the first sight of humidity!) #longluscioushairproblems
