I can’t believe we’re well into summer and halfway through the year. Life in the time of corona, although mundane, is an emotional rollercoaster right? I have found that getting dressed every day and doing minimal make up puts me in a much better mood and I generally start the day in a positive note. Literally only Harlee, Alan and HeiHei see me but it’s not stopping me from trying out new beauty products since it’s fun to play with beauty!

These are the products I’ve been loving lately. Mind you, I’m wearing these mostly at home when I’m shooting pictures for the blog or just a casual weekly shopping trip at Trade Joes.
Ilia Beauty | Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40
I had so many requests to try this product so I bought it as soon as I could. Hands down I love it to much! It provides really nice light coverage with SPF. It feels super light on my skin and leaves it looking dewy.
Maybelline | Snapscara Washable Mascara
You know I’m obsessed with blue mascara and always love it during the summer months. There are no clean beauty brands that make blue mascara so I tried out several popular brands. This one is paraben and phthalate free, about $5 and the color pops!
Pacifica Beauty | Lavender Moon Bedtime Lip Treatment
I never really experienced dry lips until quarantine and was so glad I tried this product. I put on at night before bedtime and during the day and my lips have never been smoother and softer. Pacifica is a new to me clean beauty brand which I love and have been trying more of their products.
Ilia Beauty | DayLite Highlighting Powder
Wow is this highlighter good! I have it in starstuck shade and it’s the prettiest rose gold. I use this with the tinted SPF and my skin glows! It also helps cheekbones and lips pop!
Elta MD | UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46
If you’re looking for the best SPF around, look no further. This is dermatologist grade so you’ll need to buy from your Dermatologist or Dermstore. It’s a Zinc Oxide based SPF so it’s effective and doesn’t leave a white cast!
