Like most Angelenos, I don’t really have a winter wardrobe. I have coats and jackets and maybe a couple of sweaters and that’s about it. My solution to cooler temperatures is to layer up my summer pieces with jackets and boots. My favorite item to layer under vintage dresses is a tissue turtleneck. It doesn’t bunch up under dresses, plus gives me just the right amount of coverage. One of the questions I’m asked a lot is, “how do I style a turtleneck”. My answer is to forget about the rules (if there are any) and wear it under a dress or swap out your tee for a turtleneck. I’ve been wearing this turtleneck under this dress lately and it looks so good. See, I told you, turtlenecks and vintage dresses = awesome.
