Out & About in Old Town with Pressed Juicery

pressed juicery old town 1

Growing up in Los Angeles, I visited Old Town for shopping and dining during my high school years.  Old Town has an eclectic mix of stores that fill up the historic storefronts – it’s one of the best places to spend a perfect Los Angeles afternoon. As a new Pasadena resident, I frequent Old Town several times a week as it’s walking (and Uber) distance from our place and has an ever growing concept shops, public art, and on-trend retailers and restaurants. Pressed Juicery, my favorite juice spot, recently opened up a storefront in my beloved Old Town and I was so excited to stop by to get my daily serving of juice as I spent the day out and about in Old Town.

farmers market flowers

On a typical Sunday afternoon, Alan and I stop by the local farmers’ market to shop for flowers and fresh produce. A leisurely stroll and flowers are a great way to end the weekend in my opinion.

After the farmers’ market, we usually head for a quick pick me up.  I opt for a healthy green juice, while Alan gets his coffee fix.  I love Pressed Juicery’s green juices.  Hi, I’m Annette and I love green juice.  I crave it on a daily basis and can’t imagine a day going by without a drink infused with kale, spinach, ginger, and lime – delish!  You all know how much I love ice cream – a lot – a daily snack of juice from Pressed Juicery is a very close second.  A very cool thing about Pressed Juicery’s new location? They are in the same space as Coolhaus Ice Cream. I think they should just put out a cot for me and I can hang out eating and drinking my two favorite foods.

My juice pit spot keeps me going for an afternoon of shopping, I’m sure much to Alan’s chagrin.  I like to joke that shopping is my cardio and Pressed Juicery keeps me going.  What is your daily fix or afternoon splurge?
