My style hardly verges on the brink of grunge or punk. Instead, I like to mix in pretty details so the look isn’t too girly or 90’s Seattle! I would hate to repeat to the flannel shirts, distressed denim, and leather looks without some ladylike touches. This midi dress is one of my favorites in the collection and it has me thinking of fashion week already. A dress like this is begging to be paired with sky-high booties, a fabulous leather jacket, and messy waves a la Carrie Bradshaw, but the heat wave in LA says otherwise. Instead I opted for sky-high wedges and a floppy hat, plus a statement necklace for the right amount of pop for a day of lunching and shopping. I will definitely be reworking this dress through the fall and winter – I’m thinking a bright teal blazer for the office or deep fuchsia tights and black pumps for cocktails!

Do you use a 50mm f/1.4 lens? I just noticed that your background is very out of focus and I'm wondering if there is that much of a difference between the 1.4 and 1.8. I like it! Anyway, this dress is so pretty! And you styled it so appropriately for the heat. I definitely need to check out this collection! <3
