Late afternoon is my favorite part of the day; as the sun sets everything has a beautiful warm glow and the last hints of the day fade away. I never seem to have enough winter wear and rarely buy enough sweaters or jackets to keep me warm – I am a summertime gal and will shop for swimsuits in the dead of winter. As a result, I have to rework my summer and fall items for the winter and now you know why I layer so often. Maxi dresses can definitely work in the wintertime with a chunky sweater or cardigan and flat booties. It’s the simplest way to get myself out of the winter blues and chic up my look. What are your tricks to curing the winter blues?
