French Chic

french inspired 1

I’ve always been drawn to the candid shots of Sophia Loren, Bridget Bardot, and Audrey Hepburn in Paris looking completely fabulous, yet effortless.  It’s a style I’m always channeling as I love the juxtaposition of striped boy tees and feminine silhouettes.  It is as easy as layering and mixing understated pieces that come together for a perfectly understated look.  I always like to add a touch of girlie glam and these glitter gold heels with clear straps (my Cinderella shoes!) are quite perfect don’t you think? A rendition of this outfit is my go-to look for days when I stare at my closet with nothing to wear. It’s easy, it’s stylish, and it’s fabulous.

this look is heavenly! I love the feminine nature and the Parisian theme. It’s so elegant and classic but still modern at the same time. And those shoes…dying! =D

This definitely looks very French chic. I am always trying to pull off the jacket over the shoulders bit, but I look like I gain about 80 pounds and my shoulders grow 3 feet! LOL. I need to finesse it I guess. That navy jacket is just gorgeous and I love the vintage Prada skirt. So pretty! <3
