You know I love a good vintage caftan or kimono dress! I’ve been searching for one in a silky fabric in a light hue, but wasn’t able to find one at any of my latest vintage hauls. Sometimes when the vintage gods fail me! But I think they did right and pointed me in the direction of Free People where I found exactly what I was looking for (thanks guys!). The length on this dress is great because I can wear it with heels or flats without worrying about dragging the fabric. The fabric is silky but it’s a bit heavier so it doesn’t feel flimsy or stick to me during these hot summer months. I paired it with cage heels and vintage accessories for my cousin’s engagement party. I was able to achieve a vintage diva look without too much trouble!
