Fun story about this outfit. I wore it on July 1st – the first day of National Ice Cream Month – and decided to get myself a scoop of strawberry ice cream (my fave) during lunch hour. As I was enjoying my cone, a gentleman complemented me on my glamorous heels. Right after him, another gentleman asked if the other man was flirting. I responded with, “No, he’s just being a gentleman and complementing me on my heels.” So the gentleman said, “Well if he’s not going to flirt with you, then I am!” At that point I was blushing and the two men (who have been friends for over 60 years!) said I made their day. The moral of the story is definitely to wear a pretty dress and get yourself an ice cream for lunch because you never know who will put a smile on your face and whose day you might make a bit brighter.
