To say it has been cold in Los Angeles is an understatement. It was so chilly that I woke up to frost on the car windshield and I didn’t know what to do! I tried to start the windshield wipers, but they just scraped the surface of the frost/ice. I panicked and called Alan (who was just inside the house) and asked him to fix the problem. He laughed and expected me to know that I could just turn on the defroster and wait. I had to remind him that I am a native Angeleno and he is a Michigander and girls like me are never to deal with such things as frost!
