Burning Torch

pregnancy outfit

At 26 weeks pregnant, some days I need an easy breezy dress and this Burning Torch gauzy dress fits the bill.  It doesn’t show off the bump like some of my other dresses, but it’s super comfortable and right now comfort is key.  I’m still feeling great although I’ve been experiencing major heartburn which keeps me up at night and some soreness in my ribs thanks to the twins (I’m seriously on the verge of double Ds and I really miss my small Bs right about now).  I’m still carrying small, but baby is perfect in size and height which is most important! I’m still able to pull off non-maternity pieces which makes getting dressed easier in the mornings although I do love my maternity leggings.  The maternity leggins reminder me of that episode of Friends when Joey wears Phoebe’s maternity pants to give him endless tummy room to eat!  “What about the nursery? Is it going to be all green and yellow?” is what everyone keeps asking me.  No, it won’t be green and yellow and no we haven’t started decorating yet.  Alan’s parents are still in town from the holidays and we’re heading to Hawaii for some R&R soon so we’ll get started on the nursery when we get back.  That means a crazy final 3 months but we’re okay with that.  I’m hoping the Hawaiian sunshine and virgin pina coladas will soothe away aches and pains and help ease us into the last trimester with zero stress!
