With Christmas behind us, that means New Year’s Eve is just around the corner! Although I’ll be staying in with the hubby and dog, I styled a glam look for some inspiration for those of you celebrating in style. I love making a statement for New Year’s Eve, but it’s never complicated. I paired a maxi dress with my favorite vintage pieces for an elegant and dramatic look perfect for dinner and dancing. You can easily add drama with vintage accessories and voila you are ready to sparkle and ring in the new year! The trick is to select a simple dress, in this case I chose a black maxi with strategic cut-outs (need to keep the bump in mind!), to serve as the backdrop to your jewelry. I picked out my dress from Lulu’s which always has the best options for party dresses. For the accessories, it’s best to stick with a theme; I chose all gold jewelry to keep the look elegant. The most important piece of advice is pick one statement piece for your jewelry, whether it’s a necklace, ring, or bracelet and then layer on the other pieces to compliment, not overpower. The end result is a look worthy of Grace Kelly.
