The Best Vintage Shopping & Thrifting in Palm Springs (and desert)

Dazzles (69930 Highway 111, Suite 119, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270)
Dazzles is one of my favorite spots in the desert (they moved in 2022 from Palm Springs to Rancho Mirage), even if I’m not shopping for anything in particular. Dazzles is filled to the brim with candy colored glassware, fabulous ice buckets, costumer jewelry, and rattan decor.  Dazzles is pricier than a regular thrift, but the owner Mike is super nice and the selection is in great condition.

Angel View Thrift Shop & Angel View Prestige Boutique (454 N Indian Canyon Dr, Palm Springs)
Angel View Thrift Mart is my go-to spot when I’m looking for furniture and decor.  Like any thrift store, it’s hit or miss but more often than not, I walk away with a fabulous piece at an incredibly low price. Angel View Prestige Boutique is where I go when I need a bit of vintage clothing therapy. I found a beautiful 60s maxi dress for $12 here!

Revivals Palm Springs (611 S Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs and 68-401 California 111, Cathedral City)
If you were to ask any hard core thrifter, they will likely mention Revivals. There are five locations in the desert, but my favorites are in Palm Springs and Cathedral City. If you want to feel the #ThrilloftheThrift, then Revivals is your place. Here you’ll find the best selection of furniture, decor, jewelry and clothing! Tip: They have regular 50% off sales, so sign up for their newsletter to keep up to date.

The Frippery (664 North Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs)
Located in the north end of Palm Springs (and just up the street from local favorite Cheeky’s), The Frippery represents the desert lifestyle; from poolside in Palm Springs to stargazing in Joshua Tree. Their collection of vintage clothing and accessories includes mod, resort, bohemian and a little rock n roll. Plus, you can shop some of the collection online.

The Fine Art of Design (73717 Hwy 111, Palm Desert)
The Fine Art of Design is like walking into a vintage connoisseur’s closet; one that you never want to leave! Nicholas, the owner, is so knowledgeable about his vintage clothing and accessories.  This is reflected in the beautiful selection of pieces at The Fine Art of Design. Located about 20 minutes from Palm Springs, the drive and vintage pieces are well worth it.

Spaces (68929 Perez Rd. Ste K, Cathedral City)
Ah this is my secret spot. Trust me, people have been asking me for the “it” spot for years and I wouldn’t share, until now! Spaces is located in Cathedral City in the design district and you will not be disappointed.  Every time I stop by Spaces, I run into interior designers shopping for clients (or for their online shops!). Spaces is a great spot for mid-century modern, modernist, Brutalist, and Hollywood Regency furniture and decor, art, and glassware. It’s in the Perez Art & Design Center so you’ll find other great vintage shops located next door.

Sunny Dunes Antique Mall (507 E. Sunny Dunes Rd, Palm Springs)
If you’re into antique malls and want to look for unique collectibles and antiques, then Sunny Dunes is your spot! Some spots are crowded and over stuffed, but it’s a great place to spend an afternoon scouring for unique finds. I’d say this is a good spot for the random knick-knacks you want as opposed to larger furniture.

The Shops at Thirteen Forty Five (1345 N. Palm Canyon, Palm Springs)
If you’re looking for highly curated vintage shopping experience, this is it. From the beautiful mid-century modern architecture of the building to the goodness located inside, you won’t be disappointed! Uber popular Sookie Modern is located here as are high end shops featuring local artists, mid century modern furniture and other eclectic finds. Just note, you’ll pay more for your finds here than other vintage shops as it’s more of a boutique experience.

Palm Springs Vintage Market (2300 E. Baristo Road (Camelot Theatres lot), Palm Springs)
Held on the first Sunday of each month from October through May, the Palm Springs Vintage Market features vintage housewares, clothing, art, collectibles, vinyl records, jewelry and more from a variety of vendors.

Thriftology (44855 San Pablo Ave #1 & #2, 44855 San Pablo Ave # 6, Palm Desert, CA 92260)
Thriftology is a black owned thrift store and it has a great collection of clothing, shoes and jewelry. It has a more eclectic and y2k vibe, but you’ll find gems at a lower price compared to the other spots on this list!
